MY OLD MAN AND ME

When it's time for us to go to bed,
my old man and me,
We love to snuggle down and spoon,
as close as we can be.
'cos now we've reached that golden age,
my old man and me.
The bits of us that once dug in,
have rounded off you see.
And as we lie there spooning,
my old man and me.
He holds me close and whispers,
"by gum lass, I love thee."
"I love thee too," I answers,
"so what will be will be,"
"Oh hush up woman, go to sleep,"
say's my old man to me.
